My name is Obi, I am from Edmonton, Alberta and was part of the junior data analyst program from August to December 2023. My favorite NPower Canada moment was when we had a conversation about dealing with stress during our Wednesday professional development sessions. We were given some good tips and methods on how to deal with stress at work and in our personal lives. What made this memorable was the deep and open interactions between participants as they shared their personal challenges and positive takes on things such as sleeping and eating habits, shopping as a way to reduce or eliminate stress. It brought out our human side and provided a safe space to have such conversations.

Let me share my transformative experience in the NPower Canada Junior IT Analyst Program and why you should consider joining this life-changing journey. Aside from the hands-on training from Coursera, they also provide you with additional tech-related classes they also give you career support. They will teach you how to become prepared technically for the job and how to be a better person in and outside of work.

My favorite moments at NPower Canada were the insightful sessions that provided me with training in in-demand digital and professional skills. The expertise and engaging presentation style of all the instructors and speakers made the learning experience enjoyable and informative. The blend of theoretical learning on Coursera Courses, workshop resources on Blackboard, practical application, and scrum group meetings made my experience at NPower Canada truly memorable .The hands-on approach in labs allowed me to immediately apply what I learned, making the learning experience more meaningful and impactful.

I want to share my experience with Npower, I am from Ontario and was part of the JITA Team 6B. One of the highlights of this journey has been the Professional Development (PD) sessions. These sessions helped me greatly in the preparation of an interview , resume writing, and exposure to cutting-edge tools shared by our dedicated instructors. The knowledge shared during technical discussions were nothing short of inspiring. Instructors went beyond their role in helping students. The Scrum group meetings stand out as moments of collaborative learning, making this journey even more memorable. What struck me most was the kindness and positive support by our instructors. They didn't just teach technical skills; they increased my confidence, encouraged our curiosity, and became mentors in the truest sense. The skills acquired, connections made, and the unwavering support received by Npower have paved the way for a promising future. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to NPower Canada for providing this great experience . I wholeheartedly recommend this program to the people, especially newcomers aspiring to start an IT career in Canada.

I was part of the JITA program. My favourite NPower Canada moment is the kindness and care I received from the NPower Canada team. I have learned so much and grown my professional development skills considerably while also learning new things about technology that fascinate me. I loved joining the meetings to hear the music that was being shared and working collaboratively with my cohorts.

Initially, following a survey from NPower, which strongly suggested me to enroll Data Analytics program and I had been waiting since July 2023. However, during my interview with an NPower staff member, I was advised to opt for the IT Analyst Program instead. Eventually NPower thought I was over qualified for IT Analytst Program and refused my application. If you're not facing financial constraints, consider getting rid of it. Otherwise, it could end up being a waste of your time.

My name is Tetiana. I am from Ukraine originally, now I am in Nova Scotia, Canada. My experience as an NPower Canada participant has been truly remarkable. What made the program special for me was the perfect blend of tech and professional development classes. It's not every day you find a program that equips you with both the technical skills and the soft skills needed to excel in the modern job market. As for guest speakers, I enjoyed all of them, but Mayra and Carolina truly stood out. Their insights and experiences were incredibly inspiring, and I learned so much from their presentations. The biggest lesson I've learned through this program is how to learn better. NPower Canada provided a wealth of valuable information, and it taught me how to absorb and apply that knowledge effectively. One of the aspects I loved about the program was the Blackboard platform and the well-organized structure of the course. It made learning and staying engaged so much easier. In terms of personal and professional growth, the program has been a game-changer. I now have a much deeper understanding of technical skills, which has opened up new opportunities for me in the tech industry. NPower Canada has truly set me on the path to success, and I'm excited about the future.
